About Coffee Connect Center

Coffee Connect Centre (CCC) is a youth-led social enterprise established in 2023 in Kigali, Rwanda. It seeks to empower young people, women, and marginalized groups by providing practical, quality training across the coffee value chain—from farming to roasting to brewing. Courses include Coffee Farming & Processing, Sensory & Roasting Skills, Barista & Brewing, and more. CCC has trained 200+ graduates, many of whom now work in specialty coffee.

The Challenge

As Coffee Connect Center grew, two critical needs became clear:

  • Their staff needed stronger digital skills to boost productivity, efficiency, and reporting.
  • Their coffee trainees required personal branding and social media growth skills to stand out in Rwanda’s competitive coffee sector and connect better with global opportunities.

Our Approach

Uburiza Solutions partnered with Coffee Connect Center under our model: **“We Work With You, We Grow With You.”** We designed and delivered two customized programs:

For Staff:

  • Microsoft Office & Google Workspace

  • Customer management (CRM basics)
  • AI literacy for workplace efficiency

For Trainees:

  • Personal branding essentials
  • Professional social media presence
  • Storytelling to showcase their coffee journey
  • Tools to network, attract buyers, and access new opportunities

  • Typing speed improved by **40%** on average within three weeks.
